Spain GP Top Tracks

1. Stand By Me - Playing For Change

Very few songs unite the world, but this is one of them and it was a certainty for the #Crofty100 long before the recent sad passing of the great Ben E King.  If you’re not aware of what Playing For Change is all about, it’s a multimedia movement who’s aim is to inspire, connect and bring peace to the world through music. If there’s one track that could do it, it’s this. Check out the video if you have time too.

2 Rule The World - Walk Off The Earth

If you’ve watched their video for ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ you’ll know all about Walk Off The Earth. If you haven’t, it’s not to late to find out. And whilst you’re watching/listening check out this new release from what I think are one of the most creative and original bands out there today.

3. Savages - Five Knives

Honestly I have no idea why I like this track so much, but it’s so damn catchy I’ve had it on regular rotation ever since I first heard it on TeamRock Radio’s 'The Pulse’ show. One part Pop Punk, one part techno, love it and great to keep you going when those morning runs get a bit tough.

4. We Are Harlot - Dancing On Nails

I could have chosen so many tracks from what I think is a brilliant debut album from this L.A based rock outfit who manage to mix a very 80’s rock influence with a strains of vocalist and founder Danny Worship’s former life with Asking Alexandria. They’re not re-inventing the wheel but quite frankly who cares? The album rocks and this song is as irresistible as a Creme Egg on Easter Monday.

5. Feeder - Just The Way I’m Feeling

Now this song could well be quite sad, but it doesn’t half put a smile on my face when I hear it. It’s a terrific track which you could well file under ‘Guilty Pleasures’ but not for me. Love it, 13 years old and still brilliant.
